What we provide

Calculate.Studio provides free online calculators and supporting educational content. Every calculator shows the formula it uses and cites its sources, and results are computed in your browser. Access is free and requires no account.

Educational purpose — not professional advice

All results, interpretations and articles are provided for general educational purposes only. They are estimates, not medical, financial, legal, tax, structural-engineering or other professional advice, and no professional–client relationship is created by using the site. Always verify important figures and consult a qualified professional before making decisions with health, financial or safety consequences. Category-specific disclaimers shown beside results form part of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. In particular, you may not:

  • scrape, bulk-download or republish our content as your own, or use it to train commercial datasets without permission;
  • probe, overload or interfere with the service, its API endpoints or its security measures;
  • misrepresent our results as certified professional advice, or remove disclaimers when sharing them;
  • use the widgets or content in unlawful, deceptive or harmful contexts.

Embeddable widgets — free licence with credit

You may embed our calculators on your own website, free of charge, including on commercial sites and client projects, using the snippets we provide. The single condition is that the small credit link included in the embed code remains visible and unmodified. This licence is revocable for breach of these terms; we may update widget technology from time to time.

Intellectual property

The site's content — text, design, code, the Calculate.Studio name and logo — is owned by Calculate.Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Mathematical formulas themselves are public knowledge; our expression, explanations, implementations and compilations are what these terms protect. You may link to any page, quote brief excerpts with attribution, and use the site normally; other reproduction requires permission.

No warranty

We work hard on accuracy: every formula is tested against its published reference before going live, and we correct confirmed errors promptly (see our Corrections Policy). Nevertheless, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calculate.Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for losses resulting from decisions made in reliance on calculator results, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site — which is nothing, as the site is free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party links and services

The site links to external references (standards bodies, journals, institutions) and may show advertising. We are not responsible for third-party content or their terms and policies.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
